Hi,

Thanks for sharing this thought provoking link and for stopping by and staying connected.

I guess creativity should be intertwined with everything in the way Europe and culture intertwined from the start. Ill swing by again soon.

I've worried as I've advanced past adolescence about the loss of the creative flair that animated childhood.

There is a magic in your teen years to seeing something for the first time, and once you've intelligently viewed it once, can it ever be new to you again?

I experienced Fall for years before hitting my teens, but found myself truly aware of it only during the Fall that I was fourteen.

Everything seemed to come alive beginning 2001 or so.

I think it lives on, though. We have to be hopeful, and, most importantly, openminded; you must let magic in for it to bewitch you.

"On the road to great achievement, the late bloomer will resemble a failure: while the late bloomer is revising and despairing and changing course...Late bloomers are hard. They require forbearance and blind faith. Whenever we find a late bloomer, we can’t but wonder how many others like him or her we have thwarted because we prematurely judged their talents. But we also have to acccept that there’s nothing we can do about it. How can we ever know which of the failures will end up blooming?"

*sigh* I like this passage, but I can't seem to get myself to even take the first steps to my great achievement...which is to start my own business someday. Maybe I'm trying too hard by trying to come up with the "perfect" idea for my business than maybe acting on one of my smaller less concrete ideas. Sometimes I wonder if it's fear of failure or just per laziness to get motivated to do it. Or maybe I'm not meant to be a business owner and meant to be an amazing surfer...which is what I've been spending all my spare time doing these days anyways! :-P Do I need more blind faith?

thanks for sharing the article. I actually emailed it to Stan and he had already read it...go figure.
