She is absolutely gorgeous! I've been out of the blogging world for a while now (last two months or so) and have occasionally wondered how your li'l fete was coming along. She's really beautiful.
What name had you decided upon if she'd been a boy? And do you mind if I ask her middle name?
Bean is so beautiful!! Just read your birth story and thoroughly enjoyed it. Congratulations to you for your baby girl and for getting through the birth naturally. Like you, I was surprised by how few people wanted to hear the birth story.
I have a friend who also named her daughter Aria. Aria is almost four and is already rocking out on her own guitar! (Of her own volition ... though the name does suggest what role music plays in her parents' life.)
Completely Beautiful! Wish I could be there in person to meet her and hold her. Oh and hug the mommy too of course. Sheesh, this picture is making my uterus tingle. Uh oh!

Look at that little arm! How precious.
Oh, my! Your Bean is darling. So cute how she is clutching the fabric in her tiny little fist.
She's so teeny! Adorable!
Ahh!!!! Oh, my gosh, I'm so happy for you! She's wonderful!

Curious. :)
Thanks everyone! I read your comments out loud to Bean and she smiled (and then spit up ...).
We still didn't have a boy's name picked out. I know, I know, we're nuts. We figured if she had been a boy, we'd have a few days to figure out a name.
Her middle name is Claudine, after Hubby's dearly loved grandma.

What a cutie. It takes me back to when my boys were babies. Enjoy her.
