Oh yeah ...

.... And we got another six inches of snow today. Don't worry, Val -- I opened my parents' timely holiday gift last night: a pair of Earth boots. No more sliding down hills on my butt for me!

Ooh yes. I also have a pair of Earth dress shoes. My lower back feels better with the Earth shoes. For the first few months, you have to gradually increase the amount of time you wear the shoes (from two hours or so until the whole day) -- otherwise your poor leg muscles don't know what to do, since the Earth shoes work a different set than normal shoes.
